These 6′ long Copper Clad Ground Rods are needed to properly ground your charger. It is recommended that each charger has at least 3 ground rods. The first ground rod is usually about 25′ from the charger and each additional ground rod is 10′ from the previous. Try to position your ground rods in a low lying area where more moisture tends to settle. Cashmans also offers Copper Lead Out Wire to connect your charger to the fence and the charger to the ground rods.
